Amy took her first class in 2008 at the prompting of her best friend. Having no prior experience or desire for yoga, she fell in love with the practice in the first session. Though on and off the mat for the next few years, she returned wholeheartedly in 2013, seeking a regular practice along with yoga therapy for a low back issue.
Graduating in 2015 with a 200 hr YA certification, Amy’s journey and yoga style has changed and evolved. Her desire is to share yoga with everyone who desires to learn in a gentle, grounded and heartfelt way. Amy is passionate about sharing yoga with beginners and creating an environment of safety for any yogi. When not teaching or practicing, Amy enjoys travel, anything outdoors and being a mom to her two teen daughters.
