 Join us for this introduction to basic aerial yoga technique. We will begin by touching on the benefits of aerial yoga and move gently through beginning poses. As you get more comfortable we will explore several inversions, amazing core and standing poses, finishing off with a delicious savasana. If you have been a bit nervous about jumping right into aerial this is the workshop for you. There are only 7 spaces! Sign up early. Cost is $25. |

 This dynamic yet relaxing 2 hour workshop will examine the need for "strength and flexibility" in your yoga practice. It will highlight the subtle differences between the power and the passive movements that allow us to optimize our practice while increasing flexibility and strength. Body awareness will be cultivated in power poses as well as mind calming techniques and breath work. We will finish the workshop with a hour long yin/yang class to fuse the masculine and feminine side of our practice leaving us feeling balanced. Cost is $20. |

This level-two workshop is designed for intermediate and advanced practitioners and teacher trainees. If you have at least six months of experience with yoga, then this workshop is for you! This transformational and moving meditation session begins with advanced spiritual pranayama (breathwork) and dharana (concentration). Following the introductory meditation is an in-depth and challenging namaskar vinyasa practice.
From lizard to king pigeon, from bridge to wheel, from headstand to forearm balance and a multitude of other variations, Dharma Richards ERYT-500 will give personal attention to each student. Throughout the class, her focus will be direction toward the science and true goal of yoga. Dharma''s teachings are humbly offered in honor of her beloved teacher, Chandra Om. The conclusion to her monthly workshop series. Cheryl concludes her series with an in-depth look into balance poses, our focus for the month of February. Balance postures not only help us with the ability to balance our bodies by improving coordination, increasing strength, and developing stability. They also help cultivate patience, mental focus, and concentration. The poses we will be exploring are TREE, WARRIOR 3, HALF-CRESCENT MOON (ARDHA CHANDRASANA), and BOAT.
